About Us
College Medical Center is a 121 bed community hospital located in the heart of Long Beach. We offer an ACGME accredited internal medicine residency program, which provides a unique training environment in which residents are given progressive autonomy with appropriate supervision.
Our program graduates have found fulfilling careers in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our residents have also successfully matched into several competitive fellowships including Pulm/Critical Care Medicine, Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, and Geriatrics.
We currently have 15 residents and plan to take 5 new PGY-1 residents for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Affiliation with Keck USC and Norris Cancer Hospital
College Medical Center IM is excited to continue our affiliation with Keck Hospital of USC. Additionally, Norris Cancer Hospital was added in 2021. This has provided further opportunities for valuable, broad based training in a large academic center adding to the overall experience and exposure for our residents.
